9/21/12 continued...
I wanted to mention a hilarious moment at my homestay from today. My mom and I were eating dinner and my "tatko" had come in and left the door open. The window was open as well, so I jumped up right away and closed the door, looked at my mom, and said "Promaya." She looked at me, and shook her head "yes" with a look of pure adoration, as if to say "Yes, this is my daughter, and she understand the evils of promaya. She understands me." I had to try very hard not to laugh.... : )
